Homosexuality and The Effeminization of Afrikan Males by Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti

We initially came across Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti’s work when looking for  more books by sister Marimba Ani. We discovered a courageous and daring work which is a much needed weapon/tool to be utilized if African people are to have a sovereign future!  One cannot deny that over the past decades there has been an upsurge of African males becoming effeminate and homosexual; Baruti disabuses us of the notion that this is a benign phenomenon occurring in our people naturally. He analyzes this effeminizing, homosexualizing agenda as a deliberate political effort to undermine rebuilding the worldwide deracinated African nation.

Brother Baruti must be saluted for his courage and love for his people because this is a topic many so-called “Pan-Africanists” don’t want to touch.  And it is oh soooo relevant!  First and foremost, it must be said that this is a serious study, coming in at over 700 pages with meticulous references (the last one on page 713).  This is an important point because people who would take issue with Baruti’s position on the homosexual “deathstyle” will first try to say he is a pseudo-scholar; to which an objective response would have to be either they are a homosexual or a promo.  Brother Baruti proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that homosexuality in Africa prior to foreign conquest was nonexistent.  Brother Baruti properly places the effeminization and homosexual promotion to African men in its proper context as yet another tool to enslave/colonize African people.  This book is required reading for Africans who want to stay on this earth.
